Scotchtober obviously works best in October, especially as it can run alongside Oktoberfest- the malty beers work well for both holidays.

Maybe the best time for an official event is the last weekend in Setember: cause its just too good a holiday to wait.

But really, Scotchtober is a thing to celebrate year-round, openly or secretly, and especially at functions organized by people without taste or a sense of fun.
